This was a beautiful get away! Our sit was near the lake and it was nice to have the dogs! I do highly recommend having a SUV or truck to get there as the roads do become pretty rough a times.

The campsite is beautiful, serene and kept up nicely. The terrain is very rocky and you really need to watch your footing but its part of the charm. There is running water for cleaning up and the bathrooms were clean but of course since they are pit toilets the odor isn't pretty. The lake is charming and we were able to put a small blow up boat into the water to paddle around. ** not a swim lake ** but the starry clear sky makes up for it. We did hit some back roads for a bit of "off-roading" and the hiking trails nearby are worth visiting. Overall a nice getaway.

Had a wonderful stay over night. Very dog friendly. Beautiful and peaceful. Wish was open during the winter. Managers very nice and helpful.

The camp site is listed as having an RV dump available. However, for the entire weekend we were there the camp host was parked in the dump facility with his personal trailer directly piped into the sewer, making it not useable for any of the campers. We paid the full price, despite not having this available, then had to pay elsewhere to dump our RV.

Everything at the lake was fine, Recreation.gov, needs work though. I have many issues with your company, mainly lack of communication between you and your camp hosts who despite of you, do a pretty good job. Also, your customer service stinks. I needed help with a reservation error, but could not call you or get help in any way. John Perillo
