We had a great time, had a site right by the water- weather was perfect. Hosts need to relax a little and remember this is supposed to be a relaxing, non stress time. They are a little to ridged. Seems if they went around in circles LOOKING for things to stop and tell campers to do different. Been camping for 20 years, this is the second park we have been to where the hosts were that strict.
Otherwise, the campground itself is nice and fun!

It was a very clean and well upkept site. The site had many more trees than the pictures showed. views were incredible and it was so peaceful and serene.

Loved it! super clean and beautiful campground. The dirt road to get there is the only downside.

Great campground with large, well spaced sites. Lots of places to explore nearby. Only drawback is no dump station.

Road going is was rough, but once in- it was great. Camp hosts wonderful. Enjoyed fishing and renting kayaks. Great spot. Will be back again.

Love this campground. It is beautiful, clean, and very birdy. I counted three ospreys hovering over the lake at one time along with a great blue heron. The Steller's Jays had coffee with me every morning. The site (A20) was level and easy to navigate. There's a snack truck that sells stuff like ice and bug repellent as well as ice cream, hotdogs, and burgers. They also rent canoes and kayaks - we did not rent from them, but they seemed like nice people.
Dump station is broken and there is water only for drinking. No showers.
The only reason this place did not get 5 stars is because the road going into the campground is 11 miles of pure hell. It was absolutely the worst road we have ever taken to go to a campground. Even boondocking on BLM land had better roads. Really tough to navigate with a camper loaded with water going in (no water provided on site) and full grey/black tanks leaving (dump station broken). Probably would not return because of the road, water, and dump station issues, which is too bad because this is a great campground. The Forest Service needs to invest in infrastructure if they want to keep these places open.

Very nice and relaxing stay, we loves the lake and the pine trees, staff was helpful.and friendly will go back again. It would be nice though if the road in was graded flat to make the drive better.
