Awesome campground. Everything is paved and the sites are cleaned up nicely. The lake is great with a trail going around it and to Sycamore Canyon. The host was nice and helped us with an issue I made with our reservation. Definitely coming back.

The road to this lake is not regularly maintained so the dirt road is very very bumpy. There are signs that states road not regularly maintained but did not expect that. We rented a travel trailer and a light fell off the ceiling. The lake area itself is maintained and very pretty. Just a very rough road

What an amazing (September) experience and will be back! Staff, campsite, and fellow campers were just perfect!! The bald eagle and nest close by, trail around lake, kayaks and a family that was shore fishing, duck calls, an extremely friendly blue jay, campfires, and starry nights.

This was our second time at Whitehorse Lake Campground. It is a beautiful campground, along a lake in the middle of Kaibab forest. There is a snack shack where you can buy snacks or water (I think they sell firewood too). You can rent canoes to go out on the lake (we didn’t because we didn’t reserve early enough in the day).
There is a hiking trail that starts from the campground (loop A) and ultimately overlooks a beautiful canyon. The hike was easy and was about 4 miles round-trip. Well worth it for the view.

This is a fantastic site and a great campground. Go slow on the dirt road in or you may jiggle some damage to your rig. Still, it's a gorgeous drive and it keeps the crowds away.

Beautiful little lake and campground. Clean and well maintained. Quiet.
The 10 miles of dirt road may help to keep it pristine.

WE like the campground very much, but due to the poor condition of the road to get to it we will not be camping there again.
