What Guests Are Saying
Toad Suck Campground offers a beautiful setting right on the Arkansas River, with clean facilities and friendly staff, making it a pleasant place for camping. Many visitors appreciate the spacious sites, good fishing opportunities, and the chance to watch boats navigate through the locks. However, concerns were raised about highway noise, traffic from non-campers, and limited bathroom facilities during peak times, which could affect the overall experience.

Very nice Rv spaces! Ours had a cover over the concrete picnic table. The restrooms were huge with a shower and plenty of room for dressing. The site was large and not crowded at all. Very nice experience! We will be back!

I had a wonderful, peaceful stay. I was strung out from the road and needed some rest and this place provided everything I needed. The gentleman on duty was so helpful and kind. His name is “Coy” and I won’t ever forget him.

Another great stay at Toad Suck!
We are very glad it has been rebuilt after the FLOOD! Better than ever.
I enjoyed watching a couple barges travel through the lock. I wish there was an "App" that listed estimated times they plan to come by.
We plan to camp again.

Our spot was super spacious, had a large patio with covered table and a wonderful view of the water and Locke. One of my favorite COE’s I have ever stayed at. Tons of room for my 35’ FW and truck with space left over!!

Very nice and well-run campground. Good space between sites, clean and private bathrooms and showers, and great views of the river. The nice town of Conway is just a short drive away, with plenty of stores and restaurants.

We live right around the corner, so don’t camp here often. But we do drive by all the time.
After the last flood we wondered whether the CoE would rebuild it. Glad they did! Came out great!
I particularly like composing autumn morning shots of the dam, the river, the clouds, and so forth.
Great base camp for Conway, obviously, but also to visit the Ouachita and Ozarks.
