Our site was great other than they needed to fill in some holes that had washed where the pavement and the gravel meet, so it's right where you would be walking. Luckily we carry a shovel and filled it in so no one would twist and ankle or fall. We were in site 40 that has a railing running along the perimeter with retaining wall (blocks and gravel) gravel had washed in several areas along the retaining wall so watch your step.
They need to do some serious tree trimming - trees hanging very low over the road and in some of the sites. We arrived after dark and didn't know that a tree was leaning so far over the road that we now have scratch marks down and on top of on our travel trailer! NOT GOOD! Guess we need to start carrying our pole saw! IF YOU HAVE A BIG RIG BE VERY CAREFUL, A COUPLE OF THE TREES COULD SERIOUSLY DAMAGE YOUR RIG.
Out house on the mainland, horrible, one reason we don't ever stay on mainland side. Not all the sites have water? Which is weird since 90% have water? A couple of them are within 100' of a spiquet so why not tap in to it and run a water line to the site? Be care of the facet in men's bathroom, - falling off and temperature in women's shower extremely hot (couldn't stand under it for very long).

Beautiful views, property kept up very well, except weedeating didn't get done at our site. Bathrooms nice, clean and well set up, but no temp control.
Site has slope that requires a lot of leveling and hook ups are a bit of a distance away. Almost too far. Nice shade & covered table.
Had a friendly neighbor who had political flags up at his site. This should not be allowed in a national park campground where people go to relax & get away from all the stress & ugliness in the world.

Great view, clean campsite. Didn’t give it 5 stars because some bathrooms were disgusting and the shower didn’t work. And we have 2 dogs that we keep on a leash; however, we couldn’t take a nice walk with them because of the numerous dogs allowed to charge out to us to the point that we had to just carry them back.
Camphost was very nice and friendly and we enjoyed visiting with him.

Would have been excellent had it not been for the campers who didn’t respect the 10 o’clock curfew for noise. This has also happened in the past.

Great spot to camp!! Some sites are hard to get into. Tree limbs need to be trimmed up higher to clear campers

We were at Site 48 and camp in a tent. This spot was so very nice, like luxury tent camping on a small island on your own private half acre spot. There was shade all day, and the showers/restroom were just steps away, and there's so much space around the site with only Site 47 nearby. I wouldn't recommend either site if you have an RV or need to back a trailer in. There's a long drive into a "T" with 48 on the left and 47 on the right. Our neighbor managed to back their trailer into 47 but it was a challenge. Both sites really should be just for tents, but if you are proficient at backing up a trailer, you'll appreciate the shade available at either site. Most of the sites around the perimeter of the island have very little shade but many are pull through spots for RVs.
The restrooms where good though there's no hand soap or sanitizer at the sinks. The women's ran out of tissue paper, but we came prepared. Showers are good, water is warm and the restrooms stayed clean during our 3 night stay. There are power outlets at each of the sinks. We never did see where to fill up water jugs but brought plenty of water with us.
Overall, having site 48 (with a tent) made this one of the best campgrounds we've ever been to; certainly in the top 3.

Had an amazing trip! We stayed at site 28 and our only complaint was that the drive to the campsite was shared with site 29.

My son and I had a great time while camping here. It was a perfect spot in the shade with a walkway to the water. I am keeping a note of it so we can return to the same one in the future.
