The water was great but lower than normal. The restrooms were only cleaned every other day so Women’s restroom was out of toilet paper every other day. Trash was not picked up so the dumpster was overflowing with trash on top and the smell was horrible!

The lake was absolutely beautiful, but the campground sites need to be updated! They were hard to get to (we have a 38-foot 5th wheel) and as experienced as my husband is in backing up a 5th wheel, the site roads aren't designed to maneuver a camper easily. Our family was next to us with a smaller camper but again the area was so small that their truck was blocking another site. We do not recommend this campground without physically looking at the campsite first to see what would work best as the online pictures to the sites are misleading.

What a treat for our very first night in an RV. Our site was well situated along the water, the atmosphere was calm and relatively quiet. We got to experience some of the wildlife as birds were everywhere. The geese came by to make us laugh. The waves from boats and jet skis were lapping the shore, reminding us of the ocean. Park host was very friendly. A great memorable stay.

From Eureka Springs, Arkansas, take Highway 62 West and travel nearly 4 miles. Turn left on Highway 187 and continue for about 6 miles. Turn left at Park entrance and continue to the site, located before the dam.
From Rogers, Arkansas, take Highway 62 East for nearly 24 miles. Turn right on Highway 187 and travel 3 miles, crossing the dam. The park entrance is the first right after the dam.
