Campground & facilities was clean & quiet. Site 33 has quite a bit of slope to it. Leveling our camper was a little tricky. We plan to return.

There is really nothing not to love about staying at this campground. We had a waterfront spot, a covered patio, water and electric. The lake is beautiful and the campground itself is not terribly large as some COE campgrounds we've been to. We stayed at 2 others on this same large lake, but this one is definitely our favorite! Totally relaxing.

We stayed at site 27. It's a bit tricky to back in - but we were fine. If backing in to a site worries you - this isn't the site for you. The shower house was not working during our stay. Other than that - it is now our favorite local campground! The view from 27 is amazing and the cool breeze coming off the water makes this a MUST for camping in the warmer months. There are several camp sites - but, we didn't feel crowded. The sites on the other side of the island were under water, and the very tip of the peninsula was underwater at the time we visited. If there's a lot of rain - I would check on your site before driving there. Site 27 was perfect for us and plenty of places to take the dog for a walk. We hope to return again!

Some of the sites are a little difficult to back in to at a steep downward angle and around trees. Some instances you will need your neighbor to move their tow vehicle to help you get in. Make sure you know the length of your campsite and trailer. Other than that the place was awesome. Spectacular views!!!

Site 13 looked a little daunting when we first pulled up as the road is steep but it was an easy back into the spot for our 25 ft trailer and quite level. We had an advantage to the wind in that the site is tucked below the road so we weren’t as buffeted as some other sites. The water at the next site over is close enough that you could share with a splitter and a 50’ hose. The view was beautiful, we would absolutely stay at the site again.
