This campground is my favorite. We now have water and 50 amp hookups. Dump station is across the road from the campground.

Picture of the campsite was VERY misleading. The picture and the description of campsite 17 was that it was well suited for tent camping. There was almost no grass to support setting up one tent let alone the 3 tents that the site description said was allowed. Site 17 should not be listed as suitable for tent camping and the picture of the site needs to be updated to accurately represent the available grassy area.

Site 29 should be closed and used only as a parking space for the next site. There is no room for a 2nd vehicle, unless you block the neighbor. The site is BARELY large enough for a camper van.
No camphosts the first two days of our stay. Burn ban was in place as it should be. The forests were very dry.
Beautiful lake and campground. Dump station is not well thought out and needs to be redone.

The Dam Site campground is very nice-excellent sites, good facilities and well maintained. There is, however, a major flaw regarding how the sites are laid out. Many of the sites are very difficult to access. We have a tiny 13 foot Scamp and my in-laws have a small 20 foot camper. It was challenging enough to get our trailer into position and the in-laws had to be "double-jointed to get theirs in.

Great location right on the water. Had access to showers and restrooms as well as other camping amenities. The only negative thing I have to say is that there was a burn ban in place, so we weren’t able to have a campfire to cook dinner or to sit around at night.

Aside from the dump station across the somewhat busy road, all was GREAT! The site was level and spacious. We would definitely return.

Park is in great shape with exception of the site parking surface and some tree trimming of trees. The dump station is difficult to locate as it is not on a map. Turning a 34’ trailer very sharp to exit onto a busy road with low visibility due to roadside brush was a challenge and somewhat daring.

Beautiful place, convenient, close to Eureka Springs, Lake I’m one side of the dam and river on then other side. 360 degree lake view.

From Eureka Springs, Arkansas, take Highway 62 West and travel nearly 4 miles. Turn left on Highway 187 and continue for about 6 miles. Turn left at Park entrance and continue to the site, located before the dam.
From Rogers, Arkansas, take Highway 62 East for nearly 24 miles. Turn right on Highway 187 and travel 3 miles, crossing the dam. The park entrance is the first right after the dam.
