What Guests Are Saying
Starkey Campground offers a peaceful environment, ideal for families and those looking to kayak on Beaver Lake. While some sites are challenging to access and amenities like restrooms need upgrades, many guests appreciate the beautiful views, spacious sites, and proximity to the lake. Overall, it has potential as a quiet retreat, but improvements in maintenance and services are recommended.

RV sites were clean and convenient to toilet and shower facilities. Most RV sites had complete water and pump-out connections. The lake is beautiful. We spend 3 nights roaming around on the lake and in Eureka Springs. Quaint town with a long history. Nice people.

Sites are very unlevel very bumpy and a lot of the hookups are backwards the second lot going down the hill is totally ridiculous to use we was in a pull through we had to go in backwards and slide the awning out between two trees the bathrooms are atrocious with smells and flies campground could definitely use some updating

Very peaceful place to camp. I wish there was someone onsite to answer questions though. There was a burn ban up so we couldn't have a camp fire. I'm not sure how accurate the ban was considering no one was onsite though.

The camp pads are pretty narrow. We stayed in #19 and it was not close to level. We couldn't get level, so getting out of the trailer was tricky and cabinets had to be opened carefully. The leaves were all blown into the grass, so the grass wasn't usable to walk through at all for fear of hiding snakes. Strange still having piles of leaves in July; made it seem like little maintenance in the campsite.
We probably will look for of places than Starkey's again, even though the woodsy feel was cool and what we were looking for.

We checked in on Wednesday and stayed for two nights. We almost had the entire campground to ourselves, so it was peaceful and beautiful. We saw a deer herd throughout our stay and the bald eagles' activity was a special treat. The campsites were very clean, and the facilities serviced every day. We are looking forward to our next stay. Thanks for making our experience a memorable one!
