What Guests Are Saying
John F. Kennedy campground is praised for its beautiful scenery, clean facilities, and spacious campsites, making it a favorite destination for families and fishing enthusiasts. The hiking trails, particularly near Collins Creek, offer enjoyable experiences for all ages. While there are suggestions for improvements such as better internet service and more frequent trash pickup, the overall sentiment is very positive, with many campers expressing a desire to return.

We had a great time at our spot. Super spacious for 3 tents and a dog lead. We were right by the river and the creek! Bathroom/shower was a short walk. Facilities were clean.

I've camped at this location since I was a kid and it's by far my favorite place to "camp" while it's not my idea of true camping this place is very nice and has clean restrooms and showers. It's just an overall nice place. It's accommodating for the disabled and children.

Overall, a beautiful location.
We reserved our spot on short notice and staying for 2 weeks so our choices were slim (not to mention, it was Thanksgiving). Having said that we had to pick a site that did not have water... that was a rough 2 weeks. Thankfully, the showers were open, clean, shower water was nice and warm. It was a little dated, but worked.
We had plenty of drinking water with us... but doing the dishes without rinsing water was tough...lol I have to admit it but, we used more paper products than we would have liked ;-).
Again, the river is beautiful and the camp is close to shopping.
AT&T service was almost nonexistent. No Hotspot, 5G 1 bar, but spotty. No TV antenna reception.
