What Guests Are Saying
John F. Kennedy campground is praised for its beautiful scenery, clean facilities, and spacious campsites, making it a favorite destination for families and fishing enthusiasts. The hiking trails, particularly near Collins Creek, offer enjoyable experiences for all ages. While there are suggestions for improvements such as better internet service and more frequent trash pickup, the overall sentiment is very positive, with many campers expressing a desire to return.

Very quiet atmosphere, other campers are always friendly. Great place to relax especially with kids. Cute little playground and creek & you can walk up to a small waterfall.

Our campsite was very nice. It would be nice if there was a place for kids to ride their bikes and play instead of in the road though, I had to come to an complete stop because 3 little girls were laying in the road. Ages ranging from 2 to 4, where are the parents?? It is like folks just go camping and let their kids go crazy. But the park is a nice place to stay.

D loop has less traffic since it is in the back. Stairs next to campsite to access river. Site reasonably close to the bathroom. We love D loop!

Camping experience was good, however, fishing was terrible because of constant generation from the dam which was a huge disappointment.

Great park but if you want to fish the river make sure you have a backup plan. The generation chart isn’t reliable. Other than that it’s beautiful there.
