What Guests Are Saying
John F. Kennedy campground is praised for its beautiful scenery, clean facilities, and spacious campsites, making it a favorite destination for families and fishing enthusiasts. The hiking trails, particularly near Collins Creek, offer enjoyable experiences for all ages. While there are suggestions for improvements such as better internet service and more frequent trash pickup, the overall sentiment is very positive, with many campers expressing a desire to return.

Campground was really nice. The camping spots were very large and lots of shade. I really enjoyed the privacy. The bathhouses need a little attention the showers for the men are kind of outdated. But overall we had a good experience here. Not much cell service with Metro

Nice stay. I like being on the river side of the dam. Although, above dam the sites are really awesome with a great swimming area.

Always enjoy staying at JFK. The people friendly at check in and park rangers are constantly checking camping grounds. The campers are always friendly and very helpful if you have a issue while camping there. The showers and restrooms are usually clean for the campers. My wife is not a camper, but she prefers JFK when she goes.

Great location. The cold air coming off the river keeps it cool all summer! The restrooms are always clean! Highly recommend!
