John F. Kennedy campground is praised for its beautiful scenery, clean facilities, and spacious campsites, making it a favorite destination for families and fishing enthusiasts. The hiking trails, particularly near Collins Creek, offer enjoyable experiences for all ages. This was our second visit to the camp. Everyone is so very friendly and helpful with any questions we just love camping there. The people at the reception booth are incredible and informative about places nearby. We took a guided fishing trip for trout and caught so many I could not count. We kept enough to eat for a couple of days. I truly recommend anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing campground to consider this place. The views are spectacular as well as everyone we met near and far.

JFK is an absolutely beautiful campground, Shade is abundant with towering trees and wildlife everywhere. The restroom facilities are clean and well kept. We loved our 3 day stay there.

It seemed to me there weren’t many restrooms relative to the number of sites

Excellent park for overnight or 2-week stay. Very clean and well-maintained restrooms and common areas. Plus, the trout fishing is not bad either.

Wonderful campground. Clean and quiet. Didn't use the campground restrooms, so I can't comment on those. The river was so close and beautiful. Will be back soon. Our campsite was directly in front of the fish hatchery but it wasn't noisy or disrupting. The staff at the office were wonderful and polite.

The campground had everything I expected when I booked it for a late summer trip the cooler air from the littl3 red river kept cool. I was there on 95 degree days and it felt like lower 8os with the shade. If there was a negative I'd say it was the shower house, it didn't have enough circulation to get rid of thr hot air. I stayed in section d which was nice bit I think c would be the best.
