What Guests Are Saying
John F. Kennedy campground is praised for its beautiful scenery, clean facilities, and spacious campsites, making it a favorite destination for families and fishing enthusiasts. The hiking trails, particularly near Collins Creek, offer enjoyable experiences for all ages. While there are suggestions for improvements such as better internet service and more frequent trash pickup, the overall sentiment is very positive, with many campers expressing a desire to return.

Nice park with nice size sites. Close to town to enjoy shopping, restaurants even a movie theater. Heber residents are very friendly. Friendly and helpful gate attendants.
Down side: Park is over run by buzzards. We had a bad experience with them getting on our vehicle and Motorhome. Run them off and they come right back. We have personally seen them strip rubber roof off of campers and rubber door gaskets off of trucks. Buzzards are getting aggressive and will take your fish off your line before you can.
Drivers do not realize how fast they are going. 10 mile per hour speed limit is ignored by many.
Many pets are being allowed to run without being on a hand held leash. Owners are not cleaning up after them.

Restrooms were clean. Park was well kept. Only complaint is that D5 parking spot needs to be leveled.
Park attendants were very friendly and helpful.

Our site B4 was nice especially for the eclipse. Shopping and good places to eat. Fishing ok if water not generating. Hiking available.
Down side is Campers not following rules. Speeding, pets not on hand held leashes and not cleaning up after pets.
Not enough Rangers available to catch them. Unfortunately, it may take an accident to wake up people.

We always enjoy being at this park. I do wish they would upgrade the bathrooms and add a toilet by the playground.
