What Guests Are Saying
John F. Kennedy campground is praised for its beautiful scenery, clean facilities, and spacious campsites, making it a favorite destination for families and fishing enthusiasts. The hiking trails, particularly near Collins Creek, offer enjoyable experiences for all ages. While there are suggestions for improvements such as better internet service and more frequent trash pickup, the overall sentiment is very positive, with many campers expressing a desire to return.

Nice accommodations but river hard to enjoy because constantly generating electricity and water high. Worst it has been in 10 years we’ve been coming.

Nice campground and a unique area. Limited hiking trails, but like the trails that were there. We were disappointed that the Damn site rec area bathrooms were all closed during our visit in early March.
Showers and bathrooms were decently heated and were fairly clean.
