What Guests Are Saying
John F. Kennedy campground is praised for its beautiful scenery, clean facilities, and spacious campsites, making it a favorite destination for families and fishing enthusiasts. The hiking trails, particularly near Collins Creek, offer enjoyable experiences for all ages. While there are suggestions for improvements such as better internet service and more frequent trash pickup, the overall sentiment is very positive, with many campers expressing a desire to return.

The site was small with fewer trees to use with hammocks. Also no water even though just down path the B sites have electricity and water.

We are never disappointed with our campsite, bathrooms were clean and stocked; except the river was up all week and the fishing was terrible. Otherwise we had a great time!

We always enjoy our camping experiences at this site. I wish that there was a way of being notified of any cancelations. Tis seems to be a popular site and it always seems to be booked. I noticed this last trip there were spots that were empty but when I was making reservations it says they were all reserved.

Feel very safe here. Both Ranger and sheriff patrols. Grounds were very well kept.

This was our first time to visit JFK. I was concerned at first seeing the number of people but it was SO quiet! The park was clean and well managed. We used the older bathhouse but the cleaning service did an amazing job keeping it clean. We will be back!

We love this campground. Have been going there for years and its beautiful and well kept, however if you are looking to trout fish, forget it! We were there for 3 days and they generated the whole time. This happened the last two times we have camped there. Theres just almost no opportunity to fish there anymore.
