What Guests Are Saying
John F. Kennedy campground is praised for its beautiful scenery, clean facilities, and spacious campsites, making it a favorite destination for families and fishing enthusiasts. The hiking trails, particularly near Collins Creek, offer enjoyable experiences for all ages. While there are suggestions for improvements such as better internet service and more frequent trash pickup, the overall sentiment is very positive, with many campers expressing a desire to return.

We camped here for years in the 90's and 00's. It was great to get back and enjoy the campground. We especially like the new trail and the creek being supplied with water flow.

We tent camped. Sites are small and close together, but the bathrooms are clean and the water is beautiful.
Wish the generators hadn’t been running all weekend (makes for difficult boat fishing) but we plan on returning. Seems very safe as well.

Very relaxing and quiet; several different trails to walk on both sides of the dam. You can even visit the fish hatchery and the visitors center to find out more about the local area plus the river and dam.
