The only reason it’s not a 5 star review is that the space we had we couldn’t open one of our awnings due to the trees being so close to the space. We walked the area and saw other spots like ours and others that were clear to open awnings. Other than that, the experience was great! Quiet setting and the views are always great when you’re at the lake.

Great spot by the water. I set my tent up amongst the trees close to the other site. It was simply lovely.

We left a day early because of approaching storms. Was very surprised to receive a refund (12 bucks for us old farts) for that one day when we did not request it. Somebody was on the ball. Fishing was poor but the dogs enjoyed the trails and none of the 4 types of snakes we saw were the bad kind. Nice to have a lakeside sites with not much boat traffic. We'll be back.

Don't leave nothing in your campground around here some will steal all your stuff. No camp host present, your on your own.

We came to the area for crystal digging. There could be an improved signage for the different sites. Finding our campground at night was difficult due to minimum signage and hard to see.

we had a good time meeting up with family. Little disappointed at filling it looked run down compared to other campsites we have visited over the years. and being in the Hot Springs area and all. Know you can't do anything about the low water but lake is full of turtles no luck fishing.. empressed how quick the park works fixed the clip that broke on the site board.
