Upon arrival had concern due to fact 50 amp breaker was bad and 30 amp would trip. All was fixed first thing the next morning. During stay realized the different experiences that can be had at different campgounds. While Tompkins is somewhat removed from any nearby towns and conveniences, we did get to see a variety of wildlife including eagles and one of them catching fish.

One of my favorite campgrounds.
I had to book a les desireable spot.
But when I get there the campground is half full!
Is recreation.gov broken?

Facilities were fine but the space next to us was playing their music way too loud all night. I had hoped to get away from city noise but no such luck. Dont plan on returning.

Awesome place to stay. Very well kept grounds and clean facilities. Campsites are not super bunched up.
