Tompkins Bend was lovely. Beautiful to see from your RV or walking/biking. The only thing we noticed is the power blinked off and on a few times. We would stay here again.

I had a wonderful time, I will be staying in the park this winter too. It is spotless, everyone is helpful. I had so much fun & made lifetime friends.

I love Tompkins Bend but they could clear some trees out for the slideouts and for your big bass boat to be parked by your RV. I have to check the site before ordering because my RV and slideouts don't fit most of the sites. And we bring a big bass boat also. And I would like to see the sites leveled better than they are.

Over the years we have stayed in a lot of different parks. But, Tompkins Bend is our favorite camp ground. We have camped at Tompkins Bend many, many times since 1978. The park is beautiful and you have a view of beautiful Lake Ouachita from nearly every campsite. I hope we get the opportunity to spend many more trips here!

The campground was nice, but the shower was the worst shower I’ve been in across the entire country.
The walls weee dirty, the floor did t drain, and the water volume of water was so great it ran out of hot water pretty quickly.
The hosts or rangers should be forced to use the showers

We really enjoyed our stay. The weather was perfect for camping. Cool mornings, low humidity, and good fishing on lake Ouachita.
