I have been coming here for about 50 years or so and I’m sad to say that this is the filthiest I have ever seen it. The bathrooms not cleaned very well and trash is only picked up if it’s over flowing.
The volunteer that’s supposed to help out does nothing what so ever as far as making sure that the camp sites are cleaned up after campers leave. It’s sad when I walk around an pick up trash an the person staying here for free does not.
I’m not a negative person but this will probably be my last year of this because I don’t see it getting any better, an all people can do is blame it on COVID!!

Vista Trail is phenomenal and mellow mountain biking. Site 66 has a lot of space around it and great ability to walk down to the water. We love this park!

We were at site 50. It was level enough on pavement for our 32 ft class C with auto leveling jacks. We took a four mile loop hike from the campground. There is lots of space between sites. You will enjoy this campground. No firewood for sale.

We chose to stay in loop B. The campground at this time, end of March, was pretty empty (only 3 other rv's.) The campsites are plentiful. Water and electric. The problems we experienced was on the water. There are many poking trees coming out of the water, so many so that we didn't feel safe with our boat. We had to drive nearly 5 miles, daily, and park in a church parking lot to receive any phone reception. We couldn't even receive phone calls. We didn't try dialing "911," but we are almost sure that number couldn't be reached either. ☹️

We first stayed in loop A, loved it, moved to loop B after 1 week due to a previous reservation, and loved it too! We don't want to leave! Clean, respectful, and FUN! There was just one small problem with people driving too fast through the parks. There is no speed signs up, so walkers and bicyclists need to watch out.

Excellent lakeside sites. Easy access to the LOViT hiking trail and a short drive into Hot Springs.

A great few days at our new favorite campground. Our site was amazing - right on the water. The campground is well maintained and very clean. Thanks to the volunteers on site who were friendly and helpful! Already booked our next trip!
