We always enjoy camping at Carter Cove. Really like the spacious campground sites. A clean and well maintained bath house. Hosts are professional, friendly and helpful. We fish and boat on Lake Nimrod while there.

Very good spot. Friendly people. Didn't have cover over table and not much shade, but it was not very hot. But it was very windy and we could not keep canopy rolled out. Had a really nice time. Will definitely be back.

I reserved a site for three days. Upon arrival, I was told my site was occupied, but another was available. The next morning I was told my original site is now free and i need to move immediately due to this site being reserved. They wouldn't make someone else move that evening but were happy to make a disabled vet with a pop up camper change. I didn't even stay for a day. They were happy to take my money through.

First time. In 3 years that was peacefull. Last few years Drug people in restrooms selling drugs. They aren't scared because by time police there they could be gone. They mess up bathrooms and stay on lots all night. We and a few others had had stolen out of our boats. This year they were gone. I complained every year. The people over camp would have to come early every day and clean restrooms and lots. They were very good!
