We like Carter Cove campground. However, we noticed the bath house wasn't very clean. One women's shower didn't work.

our stay at Carter Cove was outstanding, had to cancel a couple days early because of the storms. Can't wait till March and do it again!

Always the best people, ample shade, good hot showers and a boat ramp very close to camp. Preston that works there is the BEST!

If you need your communication technology to work, do not camp in any of the parks on Lake Nimrod. We would get an occasional blip of connection but not enough to send texts with.
However, if you want to "unplug" this is a great place!
