My wife said women’s showers barely even got warm and ran about 15 seconds then shut off. One area with multiple family camping had people driving in and out of camp in loud trucks past 10pm and camp hosts never said anything to the people playing country music at 11pm. I know it’s camping but it’s also respectful to others to NOT be LOUD, up late and LOUD and park rangers should pass through checking on issues.

Quiet, secluded and yet close to Plainview where you can easily pick up any forgotten items. Also relatively close to Dardanelle if anything major comes up.

Jim Miller is one of the finest gate attendant that I have ever met, keeps the park up much better than previous attendants that have been at Sunlight Bay. I appreciate his attitude to all people and keeping the park in good order.

As I'm disabled being straight across from the bath/shower was great! Gate keeper extremely friendly, as were the nearby campers.
Always dislike leaving Nimrod. Lake....Granddad found this fabulous lake waay long time ago...We always stayed & dearly: County Line area! Please re-open, please!!!!!!

General
- Check-in time: 3:00 p.m.
- Check-out time: 1:00 p.m.
- Park attendants are on duty from 8 a.m. to 12 a.m. & 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- Two tents or one RV and one tent per campsite
- Off-road vehicles not permitted. Highway legal transportation only.
- Group Shelters are Day Use Only. Camping is not allowed at group shelters.
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
