What Guests Are Saying
Prairie Creek offers a beautiful and peaceful camping experience, with clean facilities and a lovely location by Beaver Lake, perfect for outdoor activities like boating and hiking. Many visitors appreciated the spacious sites, helpful staff, and the amenities available, including a marina and restaurant. However, some campers noted issues with poorly marked trails, uneven sites, and maintenance concerns, particularly with exposed hazards and cleanliness. Overall, it remains a favored destination for many.

We had a wonderful time at the park. Only problem we ran into was that there were no trash cans at the pavilion. I went back home and brought two large plastic cans to use while we were there. Glad I live close to Prairie Creek.

The campsite was accommodating. If you are not in an RV w a bathroom, the closest restroom was a bit of a distance. The experience was very pleasant.

Site 9 located in the multi family area was level and a drive-thru site. Comfortable distance to restroom and shower facilities. About 1/2 mile or so from lake. No host, but ranger came by in the morning. It’s a lovely area. We camped to see a concert at the Momentary-venue related to crystal bridges museum. Very convenient drive to all bentonville area attractions, restaurants, & groceries.

The only good thing about this campsite was the proximity to Rogers and Bentonville. I was in site 49 and it was awful. Not only did I have to back up a very steep hill to park my camper but the campsite was angled backward. I had to jackknife my trailer to get in there. The asphalt has chipped away along the sides of the slab and it was difficult to find a good spot that my stairs would touch the ground. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting! No camp host, gate house was closed up so anyone and everyone could come in. I will never stay here again.

Stayed in the loop that includes site numbers 40-67. Parking a travel trailer is extremely tight and should be noted better on the reservations website., Would not recommend any trailers longer than 28-30 feet even attempt most of these sights unless you've been there previously. Also, shower house for this facility had no hot water for the entire length of our stay. It was noted with a sharpie on the door so I'm assuming this is long-standing issue.
