What Guests Are Saying
Prairie Creek offers a beautiful and peaceful camping experience, with clean facilities and a lovely location by Beaver Lake, perfect for outdoor activities like boating and hiking. Many visitors appreciated the spacious sites, helpful staff, and the amenities available, including a marina and restaurant. However, some campers noted issues with poorly marked trails, uneven sites, and maintenance concerns, particularly with exposed hazards and cleanliness. Overall, it remains a favored destination for many.

Site 89, and most of the other sites on this side of this street have the picnic table and fire ring on the wrong side. The men's showers were un-useable in April as never even got to luke-warm. The women's were warmer and useable, but definitely never hot. Still, its a beautiful park with good access to the trails at Hobbes, as well as the greater Bentonville area.

Level sites in hilly area close to lake with nearby flush toilets and sinks with hook ups. Nice picnic table. Close to town. My site was too close to neighbor though. Had to drive to shower house. No place to hike close to campground.

Picked a site right across from the showers for a reason--to take a shower. The bathrooms were themselves heated, but the WATER WAS COLD. Never got a full shower for 4 days, and I picked that campground because it listed showers on the Internet.

The campground has beautiful views of Beaver Lake. It is well maintained. The one shower house is very clean but far from many sites. The men’s showers were cold, women’s were warm. Take notice, on some sites the power is on the wrong side and far away. Bring extra extensions. Otherwise wonderful experience!

Lots and lots of groomed trails, a couple fishing docks and camping areas you can fish at. Clean restroom. We were there early so not all restrooms were open yet. Nice camper pads. Good job! Totally enjoyed!
