What Guests Are Saying
Prairie Creek offers a beautiful and peaceful camping experience, with clean facilities and a lovely location by Beaver Lake, perfect for outdoor activities like boating and hiking. Many visitors appreciated the spacious sites, helpful staff, and the amenities available, including a marina and restaurant. However, some campers noted issues with poorly marked trails, uneven sites, and maintenance concerns, particularly with exposed hazards and cleanliness. Overall, it remains a favored destination for many.

Had spot 74 with a 36’ 5th wheel. This spot was great. It had a level concrete pad and nice big picnic area with big grassy areas on both sides of the campsite. Only other campsites were across the street. Only downsides were the main street to the marina was visible behind us and there weren’t any trash cans other than at the dump station. A bathroom was nearby but no trash and no shower.
All campsites in this loop looked easy to access but driving around the campground most were narrow and short with tight turns and hills to approach. Probably only small campers could get in most.

The spot was great, close enough to restrooms. Only issue is the pad had a pretty steep step down that may need to be filled or graded.

The area is beautiful however, the campground had no host, no water and the restrooms were locked. Unfortunately, we had rainy weather for the majority of our 10 day stay

Nice, clean and quiet. Stayed during winter season and knew ahead of time there were limited services - no water, shower or bathrooms other than down near the boat launch.

The park was beautiful. We enjoyed our stay. There was only one loop open and there was no dumpster for trash. A dumpster should have been placed in the open loop.
