Stayed at site 21, and appreciated the privacy from other campers. But if I had to stay here again, I'd choose site 20. You still get a bit of privacy, but a much closer walk to the car. Wheel barrels help, but if you're like me and you store everything valuable in your car, this can make for lots of walking back and forth.
I loved the area, and took advantage of hiking from campsite up to Mosquito Flats and the lakes beyond. Found some sweet secret trout hideouts in the Rock Creek on the way and went back to fly fish. Also, mountain biked up to Sand Canyon Trail, then up the Lower Rock Creek Trail, and (the worst part) back up the 9 miles of paved road to the campsite. But a great workout.
Had a couple early morning visits from a large black bear, so be "bear aware" and use the lock boxes!
