What Guests Are Saying
Rock Creek Lake offers a stunning campground with beautiful views, plenty of hiking trails, and excellent opportunities for fishing and paddleboarding. The camp hosts, Jean and Luis, are highly praised for their friendliness and cleanliness, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. While some sites require a walk to access facilities and mosquitoes can be a nuisance, many guests express a strong desire to return for the overall positive experience.

Very nice and clean campsite, my family had a wonderful time despite the worlds unfriendliest camp host. We passed that unfriendly man on his golf cart in the campground while in our truck because we thought he was stopping and he told me and my family “what the F***, As*****”!
Super unfortunate for my 2 year old to hear that from another adult and we paid for a reservation for that experience no less.
Won’t be coming back to this site as a result but it was a nice place

The lake was beautiful and the trout were bitting! Had a little problem with my reservation. The campground host was out due to an emergency so we had to deal with Jim and Theresa(?). WOW! Very unhelpful and confrontational. I was able to remedy my accommodations with no help from them two. The bathrooms were very clean so I guess that is were they shine. Loved the lake! Kids had a great time on the kayaks.

When we booked this trip in April, the website said our selected site could accommodate a 30’ vehicle. We took our 26’ travel trailer and when we got there found out that was not the case. Luckily we had booked 3 adjacent sites so we made it work. It looks like the website has been updated since which is great because this campground is more suited for tent camping or much smaller RVs. That being said…this place is stunning. Gorgeous views, right on the lake and near a small stream. Perfect for kayak, fishing, swimming, paddle board. Lots of great hiking nearby as well. Sites are clean and well maintained. Flush toilet bathrooms on site. No showers on site but there are some across the road a few min away. One night a bear came through the site next to us. He got into a lot of stuff so use those bear lockers and don’t leave out trash! There is ZERO cell service out here so be prepared to log off and enjoy nature!
