Nice campground and easy walk to lake. Fishing was a little slow but that's ok. Easy access to water. Plenty of hiking opportunities. Only issue, many RV and trailer sites not level. Bring bug spray.

Unit 8 was a RV spot but it was very difficult to back my trailer in because the road was so narrow in front of sites 8&9.

The campground was beautiful, quiet, amazing views of the surrounding mountains and Rock Creek Lake . Explored the campground and hiked the trail around the lake. We also hiked the Little Lakes Valley Trail. We stayed at Site #2 … No shade but totally ok, stayed in early June so the weather was not super hot, views of the lake. No bear encounters. We love Rock Creek Lake Campground and we cannot wait to go back next Summer 2023 .
