What Guests Are Saying
Rock Creek Lake offers a stunning campground with beautiful views, plenty of hiking trails, and excellent opportunities for fishing and paddleboarding. The camp hosts, Jean and Luis, are highly praised for their friendliness and cleanliness, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. While some sites require a walk to access facilities and mosquitoes can be a nuisance, many guests express a strong desire to return for the overall positive experience.

This is a wonderful lake but it was the construction happening across the lake at the boat lauch that really limited the enjoyment this fall. Yes, I do know that there has to be constrution, but it would be helpful if the webiste noted that there would be heavy equipment with backup signals and heavy drilling of bedrock going on all day long from 7am-5pm. The campground it wonderful. Go if you can. Hope the work is done by next season. (This is Sept of 2024).

Good campground but not enough sites, needs to be reconfigured and add more sites. It’s always booked up from spring to fall not easy getting reservations.

Good campground but not many sites so only two nights there. It’s become quite crowded over the years so the two nights were plenty.

With the work being done at the lake, too many people are going to fish at the inlet especially on the weekend. Other than that, the weather was wonderful and during the week it was very quiet and peaceful. Love that place!

Very nice and welcoming campground. A bit of a hike to the tent-only area but worth it as it is isolated. So you can't tent camp next to your car. They provide wheelbarrows to cart your stuff but count on making several trips. Extremely nice camp hosts!! Bears in the area - we heard one splash across the creek at about 4:30am and he definitely checked out our campsite for food.
