What Guests Are Saying
Eshom Campground is praised for its beautiful and serene location, with clean facilities, a helpful host, and enjoyable amenities like a nearby creek and meadow for stargazing. Many guests appreciated the quiet atmosphere and the opportunity for family bonding in a secluded environment. However, accessing the campground can be challenging, requiring a rugged vehicle due to rough roads, and it is relatively far from major attractions like Sequoia Park. Some visitors experienced issues with smoke from prescribed burns during their stay.

Nice campground. My spot was very big next to a creek. My only complaint was that there were people there in our spot when we arrived and did not want to move, thankfully the host made them move. The restrooms were very clean. I don’t know what people are talking about the way getting there. It was very easy arriving to the campground, gps took me there with no problems.

Drove from San Diego, really enjoyed the quite and the lack of people. Only one small compliant. No bear boxes for the food. It was obvious in the mornings, that bears had been knocking over the trash cans. But aside from that, clean and quite. Great time.

Campground was nice but it's so far from anything, take one hour to drive to the nearest hike.

Our second time at this campground and it is not as great as the last time.
The new host let’s a bear rummage trough trash cans every night and then leaves the trash on the little campground street for hours.
Parties of people are not asked to be quiet at 10 pm and petty until all hours of the mornings while the host has the generator running all night.
Still a beautiful spot but not quite or clean camping any more.
