Dogwood campground is highly praised for its beautiful and peaceful setting, well-kept facilities, and friendly hosts. Visitors appreciate the clean restrooms, hot showers, and spacious campsites, making it ideal for families and first-time campers. While some sites may be uneven and noise from other campers can be an issue, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many planning to return.

It’s our 1st to camp at Dogwood campground. One of the best campground we’ve visited. We enjoyed our stay at felt really close to nature. Love the tall trees, shaded sites, peace and quiet surroundings. Campsites are clean, well maintained flush toilets and showers. Good t-mobile service, great camp hosts and campsite is really easy to find. We’ll definety come back on summer.

I’ve lived in So Cal all my life and just found this amazing campground. Site are secluded, bathrooms are well maintained, it’s so quiet even with the high school so close. We enjoyed hearing band practice in the evening. We camped mid week at the end of October so there were very few campers. I filmed a quick workout video for my personal training clients and the background setting was so peaceful
We will definitely come back in the spring and maybe summer.

everyone can enjoy beautiful trail like Sequoia, clean bathrooms, shower with hot water.
good location plus very quite. can use internet and cell phone.
only one problem is parking fee. we have to pay $8 per day from second car. parking space is enough for two or three car.

First time staying at Dogwood and will definitely be returning. Big spacious camping spots with picnic table, bear box and firepit. Many handicap spots also available. Restrooms are close by and very clean. Some even have showers. Water pump stations are everywhere which is great. Location even sells firewood. There is a small town near by in case you forget anything. Highly recommended!

This is an awesome campground.... it was full when we were there for the weekend...and it was pretty quiet for having every site booked. Its a beautiful campground with very nice camp sites and tall trees everywhere. So close to Blue Jay and also Lake Arrowhead. The bathrooms and water source were close by. We didn't use the showers as we only stayed one night. Everything was clean and kept up. We bought wood from the camp host also.

The sign entrance to the campsite was tucked in the paved road. It's difficult to see from the roadway.I missed it twice but I was driving after dark. It was a nice place, lots of trees, clean bathrooms and showers. The Dogwood Trail 3.8 mile was easy to locate in the park. It says loop but it ends at the bottom of the entrance and the hike back up on paved road to campsite. Overall, check in was a breeze, staff was helpful and friendly, peaceful, pet friendly, kid friendly place. Lots of places to visit outside of campsite ....shops, eating, grocery store etc. If the entrance was better marked, I would give a 5 rating! I would be coming back!

Stayed here for 2 nights starting the 17th of October which landed on a Monday. I’m sure we had just missed the weekend madness and it was just so peaceful. There had to be no more than 4-5 other guests at the campground at the time of stay. The amenities and our site were very clean thanks to the rangers on duty! One gentleman even went out his way to drop wood off for us! We stayed on site 43. We had a wonderful time! We will definitely be back!

We just purchased a new trailer and took it to Dogwood for our first experience! The site was amazing! Super clean facilities! Not only were the restrooms and showers clean the staff takes excellent care of each site by cleaning the fire pits out and racking around the area! We had an amazing time!!

Nice site - #91. Attempted to plug into the 30 amp electric pedestal - got a "ground fault" message on my external surge protector. Was able to clear it, and plugged in. However, later that evening all 120 power was lost. Couldn't connect because of the fault. Even tried 50 amp with a 50 amp pigtail - same issue. When we returned to our home I plugged the 30 amp power cord into our home based 30 amp charger and all worked fine. Left a VM next morning for the campground and Lanni the maintenance mgr came by. Lanni worked most of the day on the pedestal. Couldn't have asked for a more concerned maintenance man. The power seemed to work but once again lost all electric on the 30 amp hook up during the night. When we returned to our home I plugged the 30 amp power cord into our home based 30 amp charger and all worked fine. Confirms it was the campground pedestal that was not working.
