Good times!!!! The stay was great. Bee's were a problem, but hey they have to eat too! Travel on HWY 18 was challenging due to intermittent closures for construction. Stayed in 63, 65 and 86. Sites 63 and 65 are very nice. No hookups but, the sites are level and roomy. Site 86 is also nice with electric hookup however, if your trailer is over 25' long getting into the site may be difficult.

I didnβt care for space 22. There was a serious yellow jacket infestation and Dogwood is aware of it because there were traps hung around but they both were filled to the top. Once the sun went down they left but sure enough once the sun came out the next day, they were out again. The lot was very uneven and extremely close to neighbors so unless you want to camp together be prepared to.

This is such a beautiful, tranquil, and well taken cared-off campground that it has now become our favorite "escape-the-city" place to go to. If you love the feeling of being out there in the woods, being wrapped around by evergreen trees while being very much far away from other campers - then this is the place for you. Downtown Lake Arrowhead is conveniently minutes away from this place. Facilities are excellent and camp sites are very much wide spread out from each other. I don't want to be selfish about this site and I want to be objective on this review - although I completely understand why everyone who has been here would be uber protective of the sanctity of this place. We love this place a lot and would come back again no question. 5 stars!

In accordance with standard industry practices, Mountain Top Recreation will be assessing a $8 additional vehicle fee per night on the second vehicle in each single family campsite, and on the third and fourth vehicles in any double family campsite, provided these vehicles are not joined to the first vehicle by a hitch and towed onto the site. In the case of motorcycles, the first two are considered to be one vehicle and the third and fourth are also considered to be one vehicle. No additional vehicle fees are collected for bicycles. |
