This campsite has become our favorite. We love the dense forest and the super clean bathrooms and facilities. Also enjoy beautiful hiking trail. This is our second year staying at Dogwood and now will be our annual site. 😊

72 well shaded by trees, rather small space for tent, 71 has a direct close view into 72 and vice versa. can park 3 vehicles easily in provided space

This campground is very well maintained. The rangers moved around very often and took care of it, so it was really clean and the shower and toilet were well maintained without smell. The nearby trail is not long, so I was able to enjoy it really well as I could walk easily.

We’ve camped at Dogwood each of the last six years. The staff members are awesome. Friendly, kind, welcoming…they are the icing on the cake to a great campground.

Great peaceful campground. Very family friendly. Very clean restrooms and we saw them being tended to multiple times a day. Our site was perfect! Wonderful short hikes just wished they were better signage through out them. Had to go over some fallen trees so that coulda been a bit more tended to. Also be sure to know that when you start a hike unless you turn around and go back you will come out in a different location so know to take your paper guide if it's your first time. Will definitely be back here for future visits.

We loved the entire camping grounds scenery.
Huge trees, plenty of shade, fire pit with grill on it, clean bathrooms… honestly best campsite I have been too… A perfect getaway at very reasonable price.

Wonderful Campground and well maintained. The campground hosts are all super friendly and helpful, with a special shoutout to Sal and Rebecca!
Bathrooms and showers are always clean and well stocked. Upon arrival campsites are spotless and ready to go.
This is our favorite campground.

In accordance with standard industry practices, Mountain Top Recreation will be assessing a $8 additional vehicle fee per night on the second vehicle in each single family campsite, and on the third and fourth vehicles in any double family campsite, provided these vehicles are not joined to the first vehicle by a hitch and towed onto the site. In the case of motorcycles, the first two are considered to be one vehicle and the third and fourth are also considered to be one vehicle. No additional vehicle fees are collected for bicycles. |
