Dogwood campground is highly praised for its beautiful and peaceful setting, well-kept facilities, and friendly hosts. Visitors appreciate the clean restrooms, hot showers, and spacious campsites, making it ideal for families and first-time campers. While some sites may be uneven and noise from other campers can be an issue, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many planning to return.

Our section of the campground was all non-electric tent sites. This meant no generator sounds while we tried to sleep. It's a pleasant campground in the woods. Fire was allowed in the pit at the site, and local wood for sale at the gate.

We stayed in site 21 with a 25 foot trailer. It was amazing and very private. The camp hosts were very friendly and helpful. The sites and bathrooms were very clean. We will definitely be back.

This is our second time in Dogwood Lake Arrowhead. The place is perfect for family especially if you have kids. We enjoyed the wood as always. Near the village. The staffs are Friendly and doing their job well. Restrooms are clean. Definitely will camp here again!

As other reviewers point out, this is a wonderful campground. We stayed at Site 7 which is nicely secluded. There is a very steep hill down to the campsite, and during our visit (end of July) there were constantly several yellow jackets. Not sure if this is normal but perhaps bring a screenhouse if you have one, just in case.

I highly recommend this campsite specially #46 . We went on July and we have enough shade, trees and good privacy. Really clean and organized campsite!
If we could have more close trash cans would be more convenient.
Just there are lot of wasps waiting for our food, be ready and prepared for them… 😉

Most miserable and disappointing camping experience we’ve ever had. Every 30 minutes during the daylight hours a loud tourist chopper was right over the campground! A great place for the deaf to camp……. We were booked for 3 nights and left the first morning. There was absolutely no peace and quiet.

Spent 2 nights in Dogwood, always clean and quiet. Then we went to Pine Knot, I expected it to be a bit more lively but the camp host seemed lost and the bathrooms were less than clean. I will be back to Dogwood for another year, bit definitely not Pine Knot.
