What Guests Are Saying
Dogwood Campground is consistently praised for its cleanliness, beautiful natural surroundings, and well-maintained facilities, including flush toilets and hot showers. Campers appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the serene and private atmosphere provided by spacious campsites nestled among trees. While some visitors noted minor inconveniences, such as the price increase for firewood and challenges with tent placement, the overall experience remains highly rated, making it a popular choice for families and repeat visitors.

If you are planning to sleep in your car or rooftop tent, make sure to bring leveling blocks or wood. Parking pad has a slope. Fire pit and table area is pretty private. Good shade from the trees from afternoon to the evening.

Forest is really beautiful and this spot is right near one trail. We were at Tuesday and there were a lot of people there. Dogs also! I don’t mean it’s bad just a fact. Also prepare anti mosquitoes supplies bc bugs there are insane. They have bear boxes toilets water and showers!! And really sweet lady at the entrance

The campground is very large and the sites are just as large. Some sites are sloped, including ours, but the site was so large that we found level ground past some trees in area hidden from the rest of the site. It was really cool.
It was really cold and there was dense fog condensing on the leaves falling like rain the first night we arrived but warmed up over the weekend.

Beautiful park. Very well maintained. The Staff were fantastic & very nice. The biggest downside to this park is that it's in a very steep canyon area. And very many of the spaces have parking that is extremely angled. If you're tenting, no biggy. If you have a short trailer that you can level a LOT, it's do-able. If you have an RV, truck camper, or long trailer many sites are un-useable. I changes sites because the one I originally had would have needed 11" of lift under my rear wheels. Which, with the continued downslope of the pavement, set my rear bumper at chest level. I couldn't even reach the door handle on my camper. So, do your research. Outside of that, it is a beautifully run park.
