Love this campground! This was the second time we stayed. This spot, #2 is amazing. It's down below the main campground. Next to meadows and the spring. We saw deer a few times as well.
We made our own portable toilet, lol. But also drove up to (or you can walk) to the facilities at the campground. Stayed in #6 before, and are staying there again soon. Definitely recommend this campground! But spot #2 is a fav!!

Access to the toilets is limited due to the distance from the camp sites near the spring. Probably doesnt effect younger people but for older folks its a long hike back to camp, up the hill while on oxygen. The area is spacious, the sites are very large but poorly marked. The map attached to the reservations page is misleading and the scale is meaningless. The host is helpful and friendly. The site rules state that dirt bikes and atvs are not allowed to roar through the campground. This is not posted well enough, and people in the upper campsites have to deal with clouds of dust etc.. Compared with other other campgrounds this one is great but be prepared to do a little boondocking for toilets and culinary water. We are coming back soon. That is if the smoke clears a bit.
