Campsite was very nice and clean and close to the water. Campsite host was very kind and accommodating. Bathrooms were kept clean. Lots of paved trails around which was very nice.

This year we have one of the best host. Kevin is such a nice guy and keeps his eye on everything. We love Shirttail but wish the dump would get fixed, after two years it seems a bit long.

The warm water and the fact that there werenβt any boats or jet skis made the lake absolutely ideal. The small quiet campground was a nice setting and we had #7 which is open on one side to a beautiful meadow plus has its own path to the rec trail and is less than 10 minute walk to the lake. Camp host Kevin was kind and made his rounds in the evening. Weβll be back!

Good water access, paddle boarding, canoeing, kayaking, all good. Was hot when we were there. Some biking around the lake but trail needs work. We didn't use the restrooms as we are self contained. Easy beach access and plenty of beach space. No cell service of any kind at the camp site, but we biked up the hill to get 2 bars 5g Verizon. Camp was very quiet after about 8PM.

Great camp site. We are newer to camping and the site was accessible. Great experience.

Come prepared. Vaulted toilets bring your own water. Great Lake and paved trail around it.

We go often, enjoy the area. It is a shame the RV dump has been closed for so long.

This was my first visit to Shirttail Creek Campground. I'll be back! The grounds were well maintained. Sugar Pine Lake is just the right size for kayaking and paddle boarding. I really liked the paved hiking path that goes about halfway around the lake. The other half is a dirt path but easily managed.

We stayed for two nights in late Oct. Site 14 was clean and easy to back our 26FT trailer into. Just don't drive to the campground from Hwy 80 on Iowa Hill Road if you have a motorhome or trailer due to the 15% grade and hairpin turns . Use forest Hill Road from Auburn to get to Sugar Pine Reservoir.
