What Guests Are Saying
Dimond O Campground offers a pleasant stay with well-maintained sites, friendly hosts, and clean bathrooms. Visitors appreciate the beautiful surroundings, privacy between campsites, and proximity to Yosemite National Park. However, some drawbacks include limited water availability, noise from the camp host's generator, and the rustic facilities.

This is a good campground to explore the Hetch Hetchy area of Yosemite. The road into the campground is a bit bumpy and narrow in places. It is about a 45 minute drive to Yosemite Valley. This is a fairly remote campground without many services close by, a good idea to have your supplies with you. You can explore the other areas of Yosemite such as Lake Tenaya and Olmstead Point along Hwy 120 east as well, once again about 45 minutes to one hour drive. Overall Dimond O is a quiet campground, just vault type toilets and no hookups. Usually you can book the campground on shorter notice than any of the Yosemite campgrounds. However, be sure to take plenty of mosquito repellant.

The site is OK, but very difficult to find. Signs were almost non existent!

Nice large campsite amongst the forest backing onto the river. Enjoyed that it wasn't very crowded.

Camp staff was great. Miss the pre-fires foliage, but the grounds were still nice.

Nice enough place. Nothing special. The fire took away it’s charm.

Great campsite, close drive to Yosemite, and not nearly as crowded. Bathroom facilities in USFS sites are better than the park as well. We would definitely go again.

Great spot away from alle of the handle of the valley. We would reccommend it to everyone.

Loved this campground. It was a bit outside Yosemite which made for a beautiful and serene seclusion. My friends and I saw more stars than we'd ever seen in our lives. I highly recommend this campsite if you're looking to keep away from lots and lots of people at the more crowded and popular sites around Yosemite. I also thoroughly enjoyed the creek that ran alongside the campground. It was clean, full of natural beauty, and fairly accessible by car. Would visit again!
