What Guests Are Saying

Dimond O Campground offers a pleasant stay with well-maintained sites, friendly hosts, and clean bathrooms. Visitors appreciate the beautiful surroundings, privacy between campsites, and proximity to Yosemite National Park. However, some drawbacks include limited water availability, noise from the camp host's generator, and the rustic facilities.

Camp site well organized
1 space for the car, one for the tent (Best one during my road trip).
1 space to eat.
1 BBQ, but unfortunately, it's an old and partially broken.
The box to protect bear works as we have see trace of bear the morning near us...
Toilets are clean except at 8am, when they clean them and so we have an unsupportable odor when you expect to have your breakfast ! 1 star lose for that.

Carrie the camp ground manager was extremely helpful and kind during our stay. Toilets were spotless. Would re visit if we came back to Yosemite NP. All the best Carrie, Hazel and Ryan (UK)

This campground is small and very basic. The sites are spaced out more than the sites at Yosemite. It was a great location to stay the day before entering Yosemite. It was very quiet and the star gazing at night was great.

This campground and this site is always great. But on this trip there was a new camp host I hadn’t seen before and they were great. Kept the place nice and clean. The restrooms were clean and stocked. The host really was just great.

This is a lovely little campground handy to the Big Oak Flat entrance to Yosemite. Other than the daily precarious drive into Yosemite Valley, this is a much nicer camping option than being in the park itself. Quiet and away from the crowds. I never actually met the hosts, but they were present every day and did a great job of keeping the place looking good. These had to be the cleanest national forest toilets I've ever encountered.

What a nice campground! About 3.5 miles down a small side road. Sites are fairly private, lots of trees. There is a stream that runs at the back of the campground. The campground empties out during the day when most people head into Yosemite. Very easy access to the park. The new camp host Carrie is very nice and does a good jog of keeping things clean!

The Camp Hosts were great. Friendly, knowledgable, flexible, helpful, encouraging, safety-minded, and thorough.

We did not have water in our part of the campground so that made things a bit challenging but, it could not be helped due to a leaking pipe requiring repair.

We enjoyed ourselves a lot.

This is a lovely quiet campground not far from the big oak flats entrance! I loved the grills at each camp site and the space between sites. While the toilets are but toilets they are the nicest pit toilets I have ever used. You can tell the campground management really cares about it.
