Camp Three Campground

El río esta bien lo malo es que casi no hay sombra y los baños es lo peor huelen horrible de los 3 días que estuvimos ahí fue fatal faltaba papel y además estuvieron sucios todo el tiempo para ir a tirar la basura esta lejos los 2 contenedores los espacios para el carro si es grande como una van o una camioneta solo cabe 1 y no 2 como lo dice en línea....no creo volver aquí

1st time at camp 3, And we stayed at site #10. limited shade, Def need a canopy or 2. No need for an alarm clock as u will be awakened by the traffic from hwy 99. No joke, from the edge of the tent to the edge of the highway was about 20 feet !! And no thats no typo, It was ridiculously close. BUT, at nite it was nice and quiet. I mean it was to quiet. we expected some partying but it was nice, Could hear the river in the distance. Campsite it self was OK. alot of fire ants... u will get bit. Not recommended for senior citizens as it has a lot of boulders that I almost broke my neck on! They (rocks) are all around the picnic table to, so be careful. As far as proximity to tha fab Kern river, this place is dope. Several lil trails to tha river and also there is more spots to enjoy the river nearby to fish, raft or just chill in. Restrooms were ok, they had tp and were in generally good condition. bty... it is /*-9+``~ HOT!! bring H2O and plenty beer.. =)

Great spot

We are a group of 3 families who reserved the camp 51 and 52, we are not happy, the site is full of big rocks, on a hill, of course no shade, and the little access to the river it’s full of trash, overall camp Three campground is clean, the bathroom with not running water needs more ventilation and twice a day cleaning crew would be convenient especially on the weekends and holidays.

My second year at the site.
I love this area but some of the camp spots are cramped for the size of the rig that they say will fit.
The place is great for family and friends… I will be there next year for sure!

The campground doesn’t have showers but no boo hoo. The restrooms don’t smell, I can say the only thing are the fire ants they are almost everywhere.

Close to town and great spots on the river! Can get very hot at campsites. Watch out for the large boulders in the "driveways" . Camp host was helpful.

Nice spot - watch out for skunks! One walked through our campsite during dinner:)

Beautiful sites along the river. Fun campground from which to raft. Walk up to the head of the group site to start rafting through the rapids. Get out when you reach the big rock at the end of the calm waters. The non-river sites are hot and do not have much if any shade.

We love this place! In all the reviews I read no one ever posted about the rattlesnakes! There are rattlesnakes! So if you have little ones you should know. The host is great. You’re paying $30/night so don’t expect anything fancy. We can’t wait to go back next Summer!
