What Guests Are Saying
Deer Creek Campground offers a beautiful setting with clean facilities, friendly camp hosts, and great access to the lake, making it a popular choice for camping and outdoor activities. Many visitors appreciate the well-maintained campsites and ease of reserving spots online. However, some concerns were raised about limited restroom availability, occasional cleanliness issues, and the need for more campground options, particularly during busy seasons. Overall, it remains a cherished destination for many campers.

Great camping spot! Neighbors are really friendly and so are the camp hosts! The bathroom broke down that day, but when we were able to use them they were very clean and tidy! Try to get a spot on the lake!

Really nice grounds. Well maintained. The hosts were fantastic. The lake water is nice and refreshing but a tad cool.
Note: there are additional camp grounds in the area with really nice sites, but are still closed FOR LOGGING & Dead tree abatement.
If you read this and are unable to procure a reservation, PLEASE PETITION YOUR GOVERNMENT FOR FUNDS TO OPEN THESE SITES. Over all 10/10

I hesitate to share my experience. This campground is a hidden gem. We had a wonderful experience at the Deer Creek campground. The bathrooms were clean. The campsite was clean. The lake was amazing.

We had the best time at Deer Creek, I’d definitely go again. I had a site right on the lake and it was super quiet and peaceful. Thankfully it wasn’t too hot because there wasn’t too many tree coverage where our camp was, but other sites had more. The restrooms were very clean and the host, Carmen, was helpful and kind! One of the best camp sites I’ve stayed at.

My boyfriend and I both grew up camping, but this was our first time camping together to celebrate our anniversary. Easy access from the road and to the shore. There are large food lockers at every camp site as well as a fire pit and picnic table. Camp sites are a little close together but I’ve seen worse. Overall a great campground for beginners or those who haven’t camped in a while.
