What Guests Are Saying
Deer Creek Campground offers a beautiful setting with clean facilities, friendly camp hosts, and great access to the lake, making it a popular choice for camping and outdoor activities. Many visitors appreciate the well-maintained campsites and ease of reserving spots online. However, some concerns were raised about limited restroom availability, occasional cleanliness issues, and the need for more campground options, particularly during busy seasons. Overall, it remains a cherished destination for many campers.

Adjacent campsite was allowed to have way to many people (main reason). Trees had been cut down around site leaving it in total sunlight (no shade).

LOVED it, properly spaced out, not crammed next each other, clean bathrooms, wasn’t crowded or touristy... quiet & peaceful with gorgeous lake.

Site had no shade. Tent pad was very close to the neighboring site’s parking space

My family and I have been coming to Huntington lake for over 20 years to sail in the High Sierra regatta. We enjoy staying at deer Creek Campground while we are there

This spot was very secluded, and nice. It was quiet and clean. The bathrooms were out for a whole day and through the night, but other than that my experience was wonderful. I'm going again to the same spot this weekend.

The spot had no shade at all and the camp host was never there to buy firewood from, in fact I don't think we even saw them once in the whole 5 days we were there. Besides that the lake was beautiful as was the wilderness around the lake, there were a few people that had no camping etiquette other than that everything else was nice.
