What Guests Are Saying
Deer Creek Campground offers a beautiful setting with clean facilities, friendly camp hosts, and great access to the lake, making it a popular choice for camping and outdoor activities. Many visitors appreciate the well-maintained campsites and ease of reserving spots online. However, some concerns were raised about limited restroom availability, occasional cleanliness issues, and the need for more campground options, particularly during busy seasons. Overall, it remains a cherished destination for many campers.

It was absolutely wonderful staying in deer creek camp ground. The host was so kind and helpful. All sites were clean. Bathrooms were spotless. Lake access was limited due to fallen trees everywhere. But overall really great!!

This was our first time camping during the early part of the camping season, the water in the lake rose everyday... like watching flowers open up in the spring. The campsite was perfect and waiting for us. The bathrooms were meticulously clean even during the busiest times over Memorial day weekend. Our campground host was simply amazing (Carmen and Phillip). We did the usual hikes to Rancheria Falls and Indian Pools, but we also drove out to Mushroom rock. Mushroom rock was an unforgettable experience, driving through the burn area was a harsh reminder of the magnitude of the fire. It also reminds us to be more responsible when at the lake... never take it for granted.

The camp host, Carmen, was exceptional! Kept the bathroom spotless and even provided hand soap on her own dime. Carmen went above and beyond, excellent camp host. You could tell she enjoyed what she was doing. Highly recommend!

All the rave reviews about Carmen the camp host are true. She is the best! She rakes all the sites before people arrive. The wood was stocked. Bathrooms are clean. We had a great time over Memorial Day weekend. It was too cold to swim in the lake and there aren’t showers so we were a little smelly by the end of the weekend. I would totally stay here again! Thank you Carmen!!
