Great little campsite! Not much privacy between sites but good facilities, great location. Close to camp store and gas.

RV and trailer campers beware of camp site A8. While the site looks good on paper (or digitally) it is extremely difficult to level your rig within that site. My wife and I occupied that site for 4-nights beginning August 7, 2023. Checking the campground map online it was discovered the site was a pull-through site. What it did not show was the site dipped down from the access road at the closest point of entry then curved up an incline back to the access road. After several attempts to locate a spot within the site where we could achieve an almost level position necessary for proper operation of our travel trailer's refrigerator, we finally ended up pulling just slightly off the access road at the entry to the site. Even then we were not able to achieve level but came close enough for our purposes. We cannot recommend site A8 to anyone camping in an RV or travel trailer - it just is not worth the hassle. That said, it is a great site for tent camping.

We had a good time camping but now I know that loop D is for tents only so we will try to get a campsite there next time. It was annoying to hear the generators going for all the different motor homes/trailers in loop B. Showers are very expensive which aren’t run by the park service but by the store.
