What Guests Are Saying
Manzanita Lake Campground is a well-maintained, beautiful site with clean restrooms, ample amenities, and proximity to the lake for activities like kayaking and hiking. While some campers noted issues with noise, lack of ranger presence, and strict rules, many appreciated the spacious sites and overall cleanliness. Despite a few drawbacks, visitors expressed a strong desire to return due to the stunning surroundings and enjoyable experiences.

Beautiful lake area, not much space or privacy between campsites in Loop A. Restrooms need updating.
Space we were in was extremely short. When I mentioned it to the Camp Host lady she said, "I've had 11 complaints today about that, and they were all MEN!" I think she needs to get another job.

Had a great time at Manzanita Lake once again! This was a new campsite for us and it was right next to the bathroom! This came with pros and cons, but a major con was that we did have a couple folks walk through our campsite on their way to the bathroom. If you haven’t camped here before just know it is a busy campsite and spaces are a little close to each other. Overall 4 out of 5!!

Beautiful area, liked easy trails around the Lake( possible as I age) and clear descriptions of roads and places to visit within park. Appreciated the “ newspaper “ handout, WiFi at the plaza, video at the visitor center and nice demeanor of person in the shop. Would have appreciated more flexibility in choosing/ campsites while there, miss the individual notices at campsite which indicate how long a person is staying. This led to someone helping themselves to our camp table ( assumed they thought we had left it). Also missed seeing Rangers. We love our national parks. Thanks.

Great accommodations. Beautiful location and the bathrooms were very clean. People were friendly and the location was great. We climbed lassen and went to cinder cone. Both great hikes while also a bit challenging.

Great facilities. Park is a hidden gem. RV sites, however, were not very level.

We didn’t get to go the flu hit our house but it’s our favorite campground to visit

There is potable water and flush toilets available at each loop of the campground which was a big bonus for me. The Manzanita Lake loop trail was the perfect distance for an evening stroll or enjoy the park in a small dose.
