Wonderful spot to meet family from all over Northern California. Beautiful area. Great hikes for all levels. Water activities are limited-not a swimming lake.

My brother and I spent a night here extending our stay in Lassen after a 3 day two night hike in the park. We resupplied in the camp store that had limited selection and was over priced. Campsite was adequate and facilities were clean. Camp staff were kind and courteous . Close to Lassen peak and other site seeing. Most of the park is still recovering from the Dixie fires.

Loved this campground! The setting is beautiful while also feeling safe as a solo traveler. The little coffee shop was a great morning stop and sunrise walks around the lake were perfect. So many places to just take it all in. Campground was also clean, lots of facilities, and location worked well for the day hikes I did around the park.

Large and well-kept campground, good base for exploring Lassen Park. Just heads up that some sites are quite close to one another with no privacy, so try to book early to get a more private spot. Also recommend walking the trail around the lake for some unreal views!
