I loved the proximity to the lake, where we swam in the mornings despite the cold. Very quiet campground, and primitive, only running water and vault toilets. Great location in the middle of the park so you can easily access both the north and south entrances to the park.

I was only there one night. It was quiet and the other campers were extremely friendly. I was a solo camper with a dog. Dogs are not allowed on the trails so we walked a lot through the campsite on the roads. Everyone was friendly and my campsite was level and clean.

Hike Kings Creek Falls - spectacular. Echo Lake is a nice short hike from campground. Campground was
nice but some sites a little too close.
