Campground was clean. "Bear" is a great campground host. Shower in the men's room near our site (No. 32, I think), was not working well.

The campground and bathrooms were very clean and Bear, the host, did a great job of making people feel at home.

Stayed at Orland Buttes campground at end of 2021 season. Nice campground, but unfortunately due to long hot spell lake was very low. Restroom facilities were disgusting and not useable. Mens main toilet did not work and was overflowing, one sink missing and other had not been cleaned in some time. No effort made by park ranger to fix. While this was end of the season we still paid for our space and expected useable facilities.

This is a very nice campground with a great host. Unfortunately, the water level is very low in the reservoir so water fun was limited. We were planning on staying 3 nights, but left after night one because of smoke from distant fires. Woke up to ashes on the tent and decreasing visibility so we headed for the coast. That being said, this campground was in a beautiful spot and would be extraordinary in better times. Bear (the camp host) is more than welcoming and helpful. We'll try again another time.

The campsite was fairly pleasant for small kids, but the lake was all dried up. About 200 feet from the boat ramp. We had to drive about 20 minutes to the other side of the lake for the kids to enjoy swimming. They have bathrooms and showers there which is nice, but the bathrooms have so many spiders. My kids hated it so much. I just told them to toughen up.
